T&T Wedding Rehearsal

T&T got married last weekend! I photographed both the rehearsal and the wedding. Everything ended up going smoothly, even though we expected rain during the outdoor ceremony, and I took tons of pictures. I'm still editing all the wedding photos but here are the photos from the rehearsal.

The garden was absolutely beautiful and everything was in bloom.

This is Grace's "you have to take a picture of me again?!" face

During the rehearsal, it was raining so we prepared to have it in the tent. Everyone had to line up in the garage. It was crowded!

The rehearsal dinner was catered by Daniel's. It was so good!

The kids were given their own kid-proof digital cameras and offered to photograph the wedding for me... Did I take them up on the offer? Wait and see!

Spring is Coming!

Grandpa asked for a picture of Joshua and Joy Anna signing "butterfly" so I took several

The Perks of Babysitting: A Photo Essay

The day started with snuggles from the littlest. She loves me!

Then Joshua gave me a massage. It lasted until he discovered that I'm ticklish when he gently rubs his fingers over my back.

And Promise gave me a pedicure. Hmmm.... I could get used to this whole "babysitting" thing... So far, I've been pampered!

As a special treat, we went to the park. How many kids can be crammed into the backseat of my little Honda? Three, to be exact.

They had a blast on the tire swing, until Joshua got dizzy and turned green and had to go lay down.

Sorry for the hiccups, but I spun Promise super fast and hoped that she'd get dizzy but she didn't. :-(

Snowmageddon 2015

Last night, we got 4 inches of snow, the most snow we've had here in 5+ years! It was fun but now is turning into slush. Here are some photos I got this morning before it melted.

Christmas!

On Christmas, we all slept in until 8am (gone are the days of being awake at 4:30!) and then wandered downstairs, ate breakfast, searched for the pickle (Promise found it), and opened gifts. Grammy came a few hours later and we had a quiet, relaxing Christmas.

The next morning, mom and dad went on vacation and Grammy, Nathan, and I babysat the kids all weekend. It was a blast! :-D

Here are pictures from Christmas:

Change of authors.....

As you may have noticed, I (Danielle) haven't exactly been regular at updating this blog because my life has been a tad bit busy (you know, nursing school, 2 jobs, etc.). So I have made the slightly dangerous decision to hand this blog over to Grace to update. She is a hysterical writer and has a very dry sarcastic writing style (even funnier than me, if you can imagine that...). I'm sure she will keep y'all well updated on what is going on in the Wilson family with plenty of pictures of Promise's hamster. Or she will upload pictures like these:

But here's one of Promise's super fat hamster:

See? He's a fat creature.

So here's a flattering image of your wonderful new blog author. Good luck, Grace!!! :)
