Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone's had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was pretty great - I was at a birth all morning but the family was sweet enough to wait for me to open presents so we didn't end up opening presents until lunch time. Then we spent the afternoon playing with the new games we got. This year, we got two really fun games - Redneck Wisdom (well, it's *my* game, not the family's) which is a Duck Dynasty trivia game (my favorite!) and HedBandz, a charades game where everyone knows what the answer is except you. Both are really fun games (especially the Redneck Wisdom game!).

My laptop has been acting weird for the last year or so and it's gotten worse the last few weeks. Every time I try to edit pictures, it crashes on me so not many pictures have been edited. However, it decided to work for me today so I'm uploading a few pictures from Promise's birthday (including lots of weird family pictures).

Well, actually, the first picture is of the baby who was born on Christmas. Ain't he cute?!

Promise's birthday cake. Yes, I made it. It started as a chocolate cheese cake but I messed the cheesecake up so I then made a chocolate cake. Well, the chocolate cake didn't exactly turn out either so I combined the two (hey! They tasted fine!) and she had a super tall cake. :)
