Don't miss those days...

Cadets Drilling
Nathan liked this large Color Guard

Which "guard" doesn't belong?!

Messing with the cadets was fun! :)

Sunday afternoon we went to Mystic to meet with some classmates at an old cider press.  We had cider, kettle corn and cider donuts for lunch - yum!  Then we went to Mystic Seaport.  We thought we would tour the Seaport until we saw the price of tickets.  We opted for just having our picture taken on the anchor instead. :)

Joy Anna had to do what the big kids did...
One really cool thing happened when Andy and I met with classmates Sunday night for dinner.  We ate at a clam shack in Mystic - and it was the same clam shack that Dad took me to 24 years ago when we flew to the Academy for orientation!  I had always wondered where that place was, and as soon as we pulled in I knew that was where we had eaten.  Sweet memories.

It's all fun and games until you hit a bump in the road, or a Nathan on the wall.

Buddies, sometimes.

Since we didn't walk around Mystic Seaport we stopped at the playground near the beach house to let the kids wear themselves out before Nathan watched them for the night.

Joe Cool - just ask him.

This is our classmate, Karl, who stayed at the beach house with us.  He wanted his picture taken with the kids, as he got quite a kick out of them. We told him he was either very brave, or crazy, for wanting to stay with us! :)

Weather was windy and chilly at the Naval Shipyard in Boston. Unfortunately  the U.S.S. Constitution was closed for tours on Monday, but we at least got to walk around the pier.

Love that wind! :)

At the Bunker Hill Monument

Awesome big brother

Joy Anna and I stayed below while everyone else climbed the monument.  She had fun playing on the steps of the armory.

She also made a friend.

At the Old North Bridge.

See the monkeys in the tree...

HELP!

Some of the trees were just starting to change colors

Vanity aside, Nathan has been great this trip. :)

How many Wilson's in the tree?

And now?

Cool kids

We were goofing around.  This was too funny not to post. :)

And so was this one.

Good kid.  He might get his license next week...

More monkeys.

Danielle's golden hour. :)  Miss my girl - who has Scarlet Fever.  She posted a picture of herself on facebook and she is a mess.  I guess Scarlet Fever is raging through Manila right now.  My poor baby. :(

Pooh sticks off the Old North Bridge.  It's not the original bridge of the "shot heard around the world", but this is where it was.

Nathan has a thing with trees...
