Shoes for Helen

OK, anyone other than Danielle can just skip this post, because this is just for her! :)  But if you are interested, I will let you know that one of the midwives, Ate Helen, amazingly has the same size foot as Danielle.  So for her to find shoes that actually fit her feet in the Philippines is about impossible.  So, per Danielle's request, we will send some shoes for Helen back to the Philippines with Jeri, the director who is currently visiting the US.  My only guidelines from Danielle were to get sandals in her size that could easily slide on.  Not much for a shoe flop like me to go on.  So I bought every pair of shoes with open back that could easily slide on and off from Payless and will let Danielle decide which one(s) are the winner(s)! :)

Here goes:

The selection!

Silver fancy shoes.  These have a three inch heel, but are called "comfort plus" (yea, right).  They do have a squishy footing and a black plastic wedge heel.

These are the only sensible pair in my opinion - tennie slides.

Ridiculous black flower power.  The heel on this one is two and a half inches.  Personally, these don't look comfortable to me, but I wouldn't wear something like this even if it was! :)

These have a monstrous three and a quarter inch heel, but maybe with the cork underneath it would be stable?

This is another comfort plus pair with "only" a two inch heel.  Hasn't anyone ever heard of FLATS?!

These are Promise's favorite pair (imagine that!).  Very fancy with a two and three-fourths inch wedge.

This black pair seems made of slippery plastic and cork.  Wedge is two and a quarter inches.  Happy deciding! :)
